FDMR - Name Ringtones Maker App is a free ringtone and sound tweaker app that allows you to create custom ringtones from music and sounds. Developed by XGAME9X, this mobile app lets you edit songs and record sounds and turn them into cool ringtones. It also lets you set a voiced message for any incoming call with your name on it. You can even convert audio files—and video files—to other formats of your choice. However, while you can make use of any song downloaded online or retrieved from your collection, FDMR isn’t too great of an app to use, as the editor sometimes doesn’t work or the ringtone doesn’t register.

From its acronym—” Free Download Mobile Ringtones”—you can download free ringtones from its embedded website and create ringtones out of them. These songs are mostly Indian music, although the app supports various languages. If you want a different song, you can upload your own. 

Afterward, you can cut or merge audio files, and even convert them to formats like MP3, M4A, WAV, WMA, AAC, and FLAC. You can also convert video files to audio files, but the ringtone app only supports MP4-to-MP3 conversion. If you don’t have the desired audio file on hand, you can use FDMR’s recorder to create a ringtone from scratch. If you don’t want music for your ringtone, on the other hand, you can make use of the app’s name ringtone maker. 

What this does is that you can let you set your name for a personal voiced message with an automated line. The line will say “[Name], you have an incoming call,”  or “[Name], please pick up the phone.” However, the names the narrator can say are mostly limited to Indian names, and you can’t choose the voice or accent of the narrator. FDMR isn’t too great of a name ringtone maker, especially with its limited scope of customization options for creating ringtones.
